Welcome. I'm Annie.
I'm Annie. This is Collin. He's my nine year-old son and I like him a lot. A LOT.
I had an idea of what I wanted my adult life to look like, and this isn't it. In some ways, it's much better than my vision. In others, it's harder than I knew was possible.
Our days are shaped by disability, rare disease, and all of the accompanying complications. But they are not defined by those things. It's a messy lesson that I'm learning as I go, and that's what I write about here.
Whatever your reasons, I'm glad you're here too.
