Thanksgiving Day is a Happy Day

Today was Collin's first ever Thanksgiving program, in which he and his buddies melted hearts with paper costumes and ultra cute songs about giving thanks and pumpkin pie. Collin sat right in a blinding spotlight, but didn't freak out, which I'm counting as a win. The program was followed by an adorable Thanksgiving feast prepared by the kids themselves.

Clowning around with one of his best buds while waiting in line for the program.  She is talking into the hole in his wheelchair handle, saying "Whatcha doin' down there, Collin?!"

How cute is this? There's a personalized hand-turkey placemat under there, too.

It wasn't long ago that I never would have dreamed of experiencing a day like this. Talk about thankful.
